Being a daydreamer affects who you are in ways that may not, at first sight, seem to have anything to do with your daydreaming. If you are a daydreamer, you might need to approach your mental health differently from normative daydreamers.

Before you can successfully heal from maladaptive daydreaming disorder, you have to make real life worth coming back to. If you want to be more present in the real world, you have to make your world a place you want to be.
